1907 Property Management wants everyone to be able to find a rental, pay rent, request a repair, and learn about our services on this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely used standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished project, and we review the site as we add and change content.

What We've Built In

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass the menu.
• Menus, dropdowns, and buttons that work with a keyboard as well as a mouse.
• Text descriptions on meaningful images, while purely decorative background images are marked so screen readers skip them rather than announcing them on every page.
• Headings in a logical order, so assistive technology can outline each page.
• A visible label on every form field.
• Videos that never play on their own; each one starts only when you choose to play it.
• Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and zoomed-in browsers without losing content.

Content We Don't Control

Some tools linked from this site are operated by other companies, including the resident and owner portals, the online rental application, rental listing search, and embedded YouTube videos. Their accessibility is managed by those providers. If one of them is giving you trouble, contact us and we'll help you complete the task another way.
